Experience: Dan has been playing guitar for over 10 years and has opened and shared stages with such acts as Helix, Theory of a Deadman, Headpins, George Thorogood, Honeymoon Suite, Platinum Blonde, Prism, April Wine and many more. Dan released his debut solo album "Dan Grawbarger - Domination" on August 27, 2021, which features high profile musicians such as Brent Doerner (Helix), Tracy G (DIO), Glen Drover (Megadeth, King Diamond, Testament and Hail), Derry Grehan (Honeymoon Suite), Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), Chris Poland (Megadeth), Steve Smyth (Nevermore, Dragon Lord) and Steve Mann (Michael Schenker, Lion Heart and The Sweet). Dan has been featured in Guitar Justice magazine and has appeared on radio stations all over Canada and the U.S. Through these experiences Dan is endorsed by musical brands such as Solar Guitar's, SIT Strings and In Tune Guitar picks. Dan has been teaching guitar for over 5 years for all different age groups, styles and levels. Dan understands that everybody learns differently and at their own pace. He will accommodate the individuals needs to best fit their learning style.

Teaching Techniques: Dan offers lessons for all musical styles and directions and has the ability to teach theory or songs. Techniques include hammer On's/pull offs, legato, alternate picking, tapping, sweep picking, sweep tap combinations, artificial harmonics, string skipping and more. Dan understands that theory isn't for everyone, some students just want to learn songs and solos so if theory isn't your thing, then your covered.

Cost/location: Dan charges $25.00cad for half hour lesson or $50.00cad for full hour lesson. All lessons are virtual and private. If you are a student who books (4) or more lessons a month you are automatically eligible for a discount. In order to qualify you must book and pay for (4) or more lessons for the month up front.

Payment Options: Dan accepts e-transfer only and up front prior to the lesson.

Cancellations: Dan asks for 24 hours' notice for cancellations but understands that last minute obstacles arise and will simply reschedule with student as 1 time courtesy.

What do you need?: All you need for lessons with Dan is a guitar (acoustic or electric). Computer/phone, internet, webcam and a free Zoom account.
