Dan Grawbarger is a guitarist from Mattawa, On. He started playing guitar at the age of 15 after renting a DVD from the local library "AC/DC Live in Donington". Soon after Dan made his first cd purchase "AC/DC Back In Black" which inspired him to start playing guitar and the lifelong obsession with discovering new music to try and play began. Dan started adding more and more albums to his collection and learning and playing along to bands such as Guns N Roses, ZZ Top, Metallica, Megadeth, Scorpions, Ratt, Ozzy Osbourne, Kim Mitchell, Dio and many more. Once more acquainted on guitar and searching for that next level, faster and more complex music it didn't take long for Dan to find virtuoso guitar players such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Robert Marcello, Paul Gilbert, Michael Angelo Batio, Eric Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Loomis and simply has not been able to stop. Dan listens and plays everything from classical, country, rock and metal.

Since picking up the guitar Dan has won guitar wars, played in multiple bands that have opened and shared stages with touring acts such as Helix, Headpins, George Thorogood, Honeymoon Suite, Platinum Blonde, Prism, April Wine, Theory Of A Deadman and many more. Dan has gained air play on various radio stations around north America and through these experiences is a respected endorsee of Solar Guitars, SIT Strings and In Tune Guitar Picks.

Dan currently is involved in two projects, a progressive rock album which was his debut solo album "Dan grawbarger - Domination" released August 27th, 2021 featuring Glen Drover (Megadeth, Testament and King Diamond), Tracy G (DIO), Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), Steve Mann (Micheal Schenker, The Sweet and LionHeart), Derry Grehan (Honeymoon Suite), Steve Smyth (Forbidden, Nevermore, Dragonlord, Testament, Vicious Rumors), Brent Doerner (Helix) and Chris Poland (Megadeth). He is also the guitarist of newly formed Canadian rock group The Wounded Sons which released there debut album “Gold Digger on October 13, 2023.
